Shake, Rattle and Roll: A 1950’s Sock Hop is sure to be the most talked-about event of the year! Come join your friends as we take guests back in time to an era filled with fast cars, pink ladies and rock n’ roll music. Grab your best date and come join us for an unforgettable evening featuring delicious food, exciting live entertainment, and a fabulous silent auction. And, just in case that wasn’t enough, prepare to have some fun with our special guest entertainer! We will also hear first-hand from our honored guests as they tell their story of hope and triumph straight from the heart. Guests are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing for the times – poodle skirts, saddle shoes, and leather jackets will prevail!
There are several ways you and/or your club can be involved!
- Reserve your table of 10! Purchase a table of 10 for $650 – a discount of $10 per person, for a total savings of $100 (tables can be purchased by individuals, clubs, divisions, or any group of 10). - Donate an item to our silent auction! Many individuals and clubs enjoy supporting the Foundation by donating items such as time shares, gift cards, baskets and other high-quality items to our silent auction. Donated auction items are a wonderful way to support the Foundation because 100% of the proceeds benefit those we serve! - Bring a new pair of children’s socks to the sock hop! All socks donated at the sock hop will be donated to a child in need. Socks must be new and from a smoke‐free environment, preferably in package or with labels still attached. All sizes needed – from babies to teens!
On behalf of the many children our Foundation serves, we are honored to ask for your consideration in supporting this year’s events taking place on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport in Burbank, California, and on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the San Jose Marriott in San Jose, California.
