Pete Edwards began his relationship with Kiwanis 40 years ago when he joined his local Kiwanis Club during May 1969. President Edwards graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked in the banking industry for many years before leaving and starting his own financial planning firm. President Edwards has been recognized with several awards for his outstanding efforts in the community including Citizen of the Year by the City of Campbell in 1993, Distinguished Service Award by the Kiwanis Club of Campbell in 2002, and he was named Kiwanian of the Year in 2002 by the Kiwanis Club of Campbell. President Edwards is also a 40 Year Legion of Honor Recipient, a Past Distinguished, Lieutenant Governor (2003-2004), and has been a member of the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation Board of Directors since 2004.
During his tenure as President of the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation, Pete has been instrumental in helping the Foundation to reach their financial and service goals. Pete is a member of both the Foundation's Dunlap and Legacy Fellowships, as well as a Charter Member of the Champions for Children initiative. Pete is a passionate advocate of the Foundation, speaking to clubs and at District and Service Leadership Program gatherings, helping to provide critical financial support to several children's hospitals and Kiwanis Clubs throughout the Cal-Nev-Ha District. |
